The National Urban League seeks an experienced, organized, and proactive Manager, Operations in the Urban Civil Rights Museum in Harlem. The Manager, Operations supports the executive director with a range of logistics and to ensure that the internal business of the museum runs smoothly. Key responsibilities include the management of calendars, museum accounts, budgets, tracking and reconciling expenditures, and general oversight of museum facilities and operations. Additionally, they are responsible for managing daily business operations, ordering supplies and equipment, arranging weekly meetings, organizing staff schedules, and maintaining all internal systems. They manage purchases, vendor contracts, record-keeping systems, staff manuals, and are knowledgeable of best operating practices. They will serve as liaison to the museum shop and café, managing any museum-related merchandise and business services. They will coordinate closely with cashiers and visitor services staff for ticketing, membership, and other business-related services.
